Orchitis

Posted by:

Orchitis is a medical condition in which one or both of the male testicles becomes infected and inflamed. For any male experiencing orchitis, severe pain and swelling in the area of the testes are the first symptoms. The ejaculation of blood, as well as blood in the urine, are other visible symptoms associated with the disorder. Orchitis is often caused by sexually transmitted diseases such as chlamydia and gonorrhea while other times it is brought on by another problem. For the most part, the disorder can be treated with an oral antibiotic unless a larger problem is at the root of the condition (such as testicular atrophy).
