Premature ejaculation is something that every man, at least once in their life, has had occur during a sexual experience. For a man between the age of 18-59, premature ejaculation is a psychological condition that occurs when he ejaculates before his sex partner has reached an orgasm in more than half of their sexual encounters—or if he consistently ejaculates short of two minutes. For young men, premature ejaculation may occur because of age relating to the fact that one might be sexually inexperienced and thus not mature enough to control his “raging hormones”; but in the majority of cases, psychological factors (such as anxiety, stress or depression) as well as biological factors associated with the emission and ejaculation process are the cause. While premature ejaculation can be the cause of serious worry and nervousness for many men, there are treatments available to help control the condition.
